Hazmat Training

Firefighters from Wilson, Greenville, Tarboro, Rocky Mount and Kinston participated in a hazard materials training class over the last two weeks. Once the firefighters complete the 96-hour class, they will become Certified N.C. Hazard Material Technicians. Thursday’s exercise was a drill on how to stop leaking containers and how to control the spills during a Haz Mat incident.
